The long-time captain of the Soviet National Team, HOF defenceman Viacheslav Fetisov game-worn jersey from Sarajevo Olympic Games 1984. This Team USSR white jersey was worn by Fetisov in Olympic semi final against team Canada on February 17th, 1984. Team USSR won 4:0, up to the final against Czech Republic. The Soviets went undefeated, winning eight straight games to earn their spot atop the podium and claim their nation's sixth Olympic ice hockey gold medal in seven Olympics.
This white mesh gamer , CCCP and numbers on the back and both sleeves sewn -on in plush fabric. "Fetisov" is spelled out in sewn-on letters on a mesh. This jersey has had its captain’s “K” removed, with traces of the outline easily noticeable.
Game-wear includes a few stains on both sleeves around the elbow section including a small hole on the left elbow, as well as a few marks near the chest. There is also a small hole on the left shoulder.
