- Historical Tie Game Goal Canada-USA Final
February 21st, 2014, Canada and USA faced off in the gold medal game for women's hockey at the Sochi Olympics. That was one of the greatest hockey games in Olympic History of women’s hockey. With a minute and a half left in the third period, it was 2-1 for USA and Canada seemed to be out of this game. Canadiens goalie Shannon Szabados headed to the bench to give Canada the extra attacker when Kelli Stack tries for the empty net. The puck slides all the way down the ice and…hits the post. With 55 seconds left in the game, Marie-Philip Poulin decides to be super-clutch and tie the game. Then later in over time Poullin add a game-winning goal to let Canada clinch the gold medals.
